Anglican Cursillo is a movement of the Church providing a method by which Christians are empowered to grow through prayer, study and action and enabled to share God’s love with everyone.

A Cursillo weekend normally runs from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon, with talks on some of the main areas of the Christian faith, together with times of worship, discussion and reflection.

Looking much further ahead, a week long retreat on the island of Iona is being planned for 22-29 May 2021, staying at the Bishop’s House. Revds Pam Thorn and Kathy Bishop will lead the services and guide the participants on their retreat. Costs should be about £700 for the week including food but excluding travel. The cost would be less if we manage to fill all the rooms – 8 twin & 7 single. We need to pay the deposits in July this year so please let the trip organiser John Fells know your interest quickly.
