Rector: Revd Philip Howson
Philip has been Rector of the Benefice since July 2019. Most recently he moved from Nottinghamshire where he served a mix of rural and mining communities. He is married to Imogen and has two grown-up children, two dogs and one cat. Consequently the hoover is generally rammed with animal hair!
He loves to share in the ministry of preaching, welcomes invitations to tea and is keen to invite you to belong and contribute to your church.

The Ministry Team
Our communities and churches are well supported by a ministry team who serve with the Rector and can be found around the Benefice supporting our many worship services. They are:
- Revd Sarah West who was ordained deacon in July 2023 and is assistant curate for the benefice. She lives with her husband Ant and their dog, Tali.
Phone: 07365 298174
- Revd Dr John Rawlinson who served for many years as a local GP, shown here in the Isle of Skye with his wife Sally, and a hen.
- Revd Pamela Soult who moved from Cheshire after ten years of ordained ministry and is now settled in Kimbolton. She now shares an impressive breadth of experience in life and ministry.
- Revd Ron Lancaster MBE whose life has incorporated Chaplain of Kimbolton School, chemistry teacher, and founder of Kimbolton Fireworks. Our Master Blaster Pastor can still be found serving in Kimbolton, St Andrews
Melanie Tindale helps with the administrative tasks involved in the smooth running of the benefice, in the hope that Philip can spend more time ministering and less time on admin.
Melanie is be the point of contact for arranging weddings and funerals, and coordinating service rotas, diaries and meetings across the benefice, plus any other admin tasks that need some attention.
