Foodbank collection

Food banks help families in real pressure and some of our churches collect for them.

One of the pressures that happen is during school summer holidays, when families don’t have access to free school meals for their children.

St. Neots Foodbank is in urgent need of more supplies, especially biscuits, long life fruit juice, tinned soup, tea bags (80s) and tinned vegetables (e.g. carrots, peas, sweet corn).

The foodbank at St. Neots is run by the Trussell Trust, which operates entirely on a system of referral by care professionals, ensuring that food donations go only to those in need of emergency supplies.  If you are able to do so, please try to include an item for the foodbank in your weekly shopping.

Donations can be put into the box at the back of St Andrew’s Church, Kimbolton at any time, not just when there is a service.
