COVID-19 Support
Safety First
The organisations and groups are largely informal community and friendship groups responding to needs and difficulties of neighbours with support needs created by Coronavirus restrictions.
The vast majority of volunteers will not have received safeguarding recruitment, training or legal checks. If you have any concerns about safeguarding, abuse or exploitation, please do contact Revd Philip to discuss. You can always contact the Police on 111.
In the meantime we advise you to request support from people and networks you know and who are known by others.
What if I’m not part of a group?
If you are not currently part of any community groups but need some support, you can check the list below and contact coordinators directly, or you can phone Lionel Thatcher (Clerk to the Parish Council) on 01480 861 877, or Revd Philip Howson on 07946 206586/01480 869 081 who will help you link up with a support group in your area.
