Funerals

If someone you know and love has died, we can assist with a funeral in church, in a churchyard, by a graveside, or at a crematorium.  We will support you every step of the way and work with you and your Funeral Director in giving your loved one a proper funeral.

If you want this service, please contact the Rector direct, or give the details below to your Funeral Director and we will get in touch.

You can also find helpful information in the Church of England’s funerals website.

Burials and Memorials

If you live in one of the parishes and the churchyard has space, you have the right to buried there whether you go to church or not.

However, please bear in mind that there are regulations we are required to keep to ensure our churchyards are suitable for all for generations to come.  You can find the Ely Diocese regulations here.

Notes for Funeral Directors

We aim to make the process as smooth as possible for you and the families you support. To help avoid delays in confirming costs and issuing invoices, we’ve created a Form that covers all the necessary details upfront, including any specific “extras” that may be required. This will help ensure that everything is clear from the start and nothing is overlooked, allowing us to respond promptly.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
