Old Weston

Worship in the parish church of Old Weston is currently paused as the building is unsafe, has a lot of bats, and is on the heritage at risk register.

The churchyard remains open.

Canon Philip is working with Jo Costura as a micro PCC to start up a project to renew the building in collaboration with the village.

Underneath the contributions from the bats, it’s a great little building, with some fascinating medieval wall-painting.
